TRNSMT 2022 will soon be setting up in Glasgow Green for yet another year of the popular music festival but before heading through the gates, there are some things festival-goers will need to remind themselves of.

The countdown to TRNSMT 2022 is now on and it won't be long before people take to Glasgow Green in their thousands.
The music festival, taking place over the course of three days, will welcome back revellers having not long had TRNSMT 2021 which took place a little later in the year during September due to Covid.
It may be a bit early to tell what the weather is going to be like with the event taking place between July 8 to the 10th. However there is a few things people heading to the three day event should know before they step through the gates.

As always, people are being asked to respect locals and keep noise to a minimum when travelling to and from the event. People are also being urged to use the designated walking routes.
Anti-social behaviour, in and around the event site will also not be tolerated and may result in refusal or being removed from the event altogether. This means your ticket will be confiscated.
In addition to this, inappropriate and unsafe behaviour such as crowd surfing, moshing, crowd circles, throwing objects and the use of flares and smoke devices are dangerous and can cause serious injury which will risk you being removed.
So what else do you need to know?
TRNSMT warn that "no domestic football tops or tops displaying club logos will be permitted" and if worn, you may be refused entry.
You must also not trade any items in or around the event site without the consent of Management or the Local Authority, including goods with unauthorised Event or Artist logos. Anyone found doing so will have their goods confiscated and they will be removed from the event. You may also face criminal prosecution.
Event organisers state that "Cinch presents TRNSMT is non-camping therefore camping is not permitted anywhere in or around the venue. Any tents found will be removed and not returned.
No persons under 12 are permitted whilst those aged between 12-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult 21 or over (1 adult minimum per 4 persons aged between 12-15 years old).
Proof of age may be requested at entry and anyone found in possession of Fake ID will be refused entry and the ID will be confiscated. People are being asked to ensure they bring an acceptable form photographic ID.
In addition, a challenge 25 policy will be in operation at the bars ensuring access is restricted to persons 18 and over.
If you are found to have any of the following items, they will be confiscated and may not be returned:
TRNSMT urge anyone to also "only bring 500ml empty plastic water bottles with you to fill at the various drinking water points available around the arena." They also warn that it is "not permitted to bring food or any drinks (alcohol or soft drinks) into the event and if found, will be confiscated" adding food and drink will be available for purchase at the event.
